Summary

You can step into the shoes of the reigning world number one, Pete Sampras, or select from 29 other playable athletes. The game features a classic third-person perspective. A tutorial mode is included to help you master essential shots like the forehand, lob, and drop shot. Play across a variety of international venues on Hard, Grass, and Clay surfaces. This title was the first and among the few Genesis games to launch with a J-Cart, enabling four-player gameplay without the need for additional adapters—the cartridge itself had two built-in controller ports. The Game Gear version was similarly innovative, supporting two players using a single unit or four-player doubles by connecting two Game Gears.
