Storyline

Phantasy Star Online 2 diverges from its predecessor by establishing its own unique storyline. Moreover, the game's setting isn't limited to one planet or solar system—new worlds are introduced through regular updates. The story of PSO2 revolves around an intergalactic colony fleet known as Oracle, which journeys through deep space in search of new habitable worlds. This mission is carried out by a major exploration group called ARKS (distinct from the Arkz faction in the earlier game). Players take on the role of a new recruit within this organization, who gets drawn into a conflict that will ultimately determine the future of Oracle and the entire universe.
