Summary
Plazma Burst 2 is the follow-up to Plazma Burst. In this installment, you take on the role of a marine who failed to be properly sent to the past in an effort to rewrite humanity's history for the better and prevent the invasion by the Usurpation Forces. In Plazma Burst: Forward to the Past, after his ally suffered critical damage, the marine returns to Earth to try once more to travel through time... Will luck finally be on his side this time?
Storyline
In a far-off future, humanity has been brought to its knees by an unknown alien invasion that has led to the enslavement of Earth's population. This catastrophe was triggered by the creation of long-range portals, which allowed the aliens to discover Earth's location. You are the Marine, a high-tech soldier deployed to find a time machine that could rewrite history for the better. The Marine arrives on Earth inside a Life-Capsule and begins his mission to reach the Time Machine, battling any alien, human, or android who opposes him. Proxy, a fugitive from Civil Security, escapes and ventures outside, witnessing security forces overwhelmed by the Usurpation Soldiers who are teleporting into the base. She joins the Marine after crossing paths with him, unaware that he is one of the two volunteers who previously used the Time Machine. Noir Lime crashes into the building the Marine and Proxy have just entered. Though he arrives dead, he is in better condition than when the Marine last left him. He informs them that the Time Machine is inside, and the trio fights through Civil Security Bosses, Usurpation Destroyers, and Corvettes to reach and activate it. Just as the volunteers prepare to use the Time Machine, Noir Lime yells, "Forward to the past!" In the final battle, an android escapes from a cave teeming with Civil Security Ghosts.
