Pokémon Team Rocket Blast Off

Summary

Pokémon Team Rocket Blast Off is one of three Flash-based games created for the 10th Anniversary Perdue Farms campaign. The other two titles are Pokémon Poké Ball Launcher and Pokémon Seek & Find. Pokémon Team Rocket Blast Off is a straightforward game where players must catch Pokémon as they fall from above. In the game, Ash and May hold a tarp to catch Pokémon that Team Rocket throws from their balloon. Alongside Pokémon, they also drop sandbags. The player controls Ash and May by moving the mouse. Pokémon fall at varying speeds and angles, and if they hit the edge of the screen, they will bounce. They will also rebound if they strike the tarp’s edge. Each caught Pokémon gives the player one point, while missing a Pokémon or catching a sandbag results in a point loss. Points are shown as Poké Balls filling a bar on the left side of the screen, and the score will never go below zero. Levels 2 and 3 also include time limits. The game is completed when the player reaches nineteen points. Upon winning, Team Rocket's balloon explodes, sending the trio blasting off into the sky.
