Rain Shower is a multiscreen Game & Watch title launched in 1983. Nintendo is said to have produced approximately 250,000 units globally that same year. In the game, your laundry is hanging outside to dry, but a storm is approaching, and your goal is to keep your clothes dry. The rain falls in sections, so you must move the clothesline back and forth to prevent the falling rain from hitting your garments. A version of the original game, along with a new edition featuring Mario characters, appears in Game & Watch Gallery 4 for the Game Boy Advance. The game features two levels, each with a clothesline on the left and right side. At the start, a cloud forms above the character's home, and raindrops begin to fall. The character must then move to the upper floor and adjust the line to keep the rain from reaching the clothes. Afterward, they must return to the main floor and reposition the clothes there until the rain reaches the ground.
