Summary

Recettear follows the tale of an item shop, the girl who calls it home, and the mischievous fairy who upended her life. Recette Lemongrass suddenly finds herself running a shop built into her own house, all in an effort to repay a debt her father incurred and then abandoned—while Tear, the fairy who's now her "partner," won't accept failure. As Recette, you'll decide how to restock your inventory—whether by navigating the local market or braving the wilderness with a helpful adventurer to battle monsters for their loot. You'll set your prices, design your shop, and figure out the best way to gather the funds Tear needs to settle the debt. And if you can't come up with the cash in time... well, better get used to cardboard.
