Summary
Reindeer Rescue is the "unlimited" version of the 2005 Holiday Cart. Reindeer Rescue is an original homebrew title developed by Bob Montgomery, the creator of the engaging homebrew game Go Fish! In Reindeer Rescue, you assist Santa in recovering his missing reindeer on an adventure that begins at the North Pole and takes you across icy tundras, frozen caves, suburban neighborhoods, and the bustling city. However, Santa isn't the spry athlete he once was (1943 state champion in 400m)—he's gained a bit of...roundness...over the years. His energy levels aren't what they used to be, and if they fall too low, he'll be unable to complete his mission! Throughout the journey, Santa will come across various items in the sky and on the ground—some will aid him, while others will cause trouble, so stay alert! Reindeer Rescue includes in-game artwork by Nathan Strum, and features a beautifully illustrated label and manual by Dave Exton, whose artistic talent is showcased in numerous homebrew titles.
Storyline
In Reindeer Rescue, your mission is to assist Santa in recovering his missing reindeer on an action-packed adventure that begins at the North Pole and takes you speeding across icy tundras, through frozen caves, past suburban neighborhoods, and into the heart of the big city! However, Santa isn't as spry as he once was (he was the 1943 state champion in the 400m)—he's gained a bit of...roundness...over the years. His energy levels aren't what they used to be, and if they run too low, he'll be unable to complete his mission! As he travels, Santa will come across various objects in the sky and on the ground—some will aid him, while others will slow him down, so watch out!
