Summary

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles is a rail-shooter game and the second Wii-exclusive entry in the Resident Evil franchise. Players do not control character movement, focusing instead on the shooting mechanics, presented in a first-person viewpoint. The player’s ally is visible onscreen, and the game supports co-op play for two players.

Storyline

The game's story revisits the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica, culminating in a third act that connects the two. In the Resident Evil 2 portion, players assume the roles of main characters Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, with Sherry Birkin serving as an escort in one chapter. The Code: Veronica section follows Claire, first with fellow Rockfort Island inmate Steve Burnside and later with her brother Chris Redfield.
