Summary
Resistance 3 is the third and final chapter in the Resistance series, showcasing Capelli's courageous fight for survival in the harsh and unforgiving Resistance universe. With an array of new customizable weapons, the return of the weapon wheel, co-op campaign support for two players via online or split-screen, and a multiplayer mode built around progression, Resistance 3 offers a bold and intense first-person shooter experience.
Storyline
August 1957. America has fallen. Four years after the events of the acclaimed Resistance 2, disgraced Sentinel Joseph Capelli has stopped resisting the Chimeran occupation. Now he lives in secrecy among other survivors, including his wife and young child. But when Dr. Fyodor Malikov presents a chance to strike at the alien occupiers, Capelli is forced to leave his family behind and embark on a perilous journey from Oklahoma to New York City. Along the way, he will face the shattered remains of humanity in the wake of the devastating Chimeran invasion.
