Jeff Minter's third camel-themed title (following *Attack* and *Revenge*) returns as a horizontally scrolling shoot 'em up, featuring 100 levels of action. 6,000 years ago, humanity battled the forces of Zzyax by using mutated versions of everyday animals. Now, the Zzyaxians have returned, and the 90-foot camels must defend a world that's forgotten the art of war. The Zzyaxian armies are filled with the quirky, offbeat enemies typical of Minter's style. Postboxes, letters, Pac-Man ghosts, and microchips all come after you. The game lets you fire in any direction by moving the joystick while holding the fire button. You can also drop tiny replicas of yourself as explosive bombs. After finishing a level or losing a life, players can choose to go to an adjacent level on a 10x10 grid. You can also buy upgrades such as stronger shields, energy refills, or enhanced weapons like larger or 'smart' bullets.
