Summary

River City Girls follows Kyoko and Misako, two tough high-school girls who must battle through the six districts of River City to save their captured boyfriends, Kunio and Riki, who have been central to the series. As they journey through the city, they’ll master a range of fighting techniques, including powerful combos, counters, throws, and special moves. They’ll face off against a variety of enemies, take on a host of side missions, earn experience points to level up, interact with NPCs (including familiar faces from previous River City titles), and purchase items, food, and equipment to enhance their stats and unlock new skills. Plus, the girls can use weapons and even recruit defeated enemies to fight alongside them in battle!
