Summary
In this side-scrolling racing game from Atari, players step into the shoes of the iconic Road Runner from the beloved Warner Bros. cartoon series. The goal is to stay ahead of the devious Wile E. Coyote, using speed and clever tactics to evade his many schemes. Throughout the game, players will encounter a range of hazards—like cannons, land mines, and cliff edges—that must be skillfully dodged. But the tables can be turned: luring Wile E. Coyote into these traps can give Road Runner a much-needed lead. Along the way, Road Runner must also collect stacks of birdseed scattered across each level, as missing five seeds will cause him to collapse, costing the player a life. The game's vibrant, hand-drawn visuals perfectly reflect the charm and fun of the original cartoons, while the music and sound effects stay true to the classic series.
