Summary
Rogue Galaxy is an action role-playing game that takes place in a futuristic fantasy world, where players navigate a seamless environment without loading screens between exploring the world and engaging in battles. Combat happens through random encounters, and the game features a real-time hack-and-slash system where the player controls a team of three characters. While the player has direct control over just one character, they can switch control between the three at any moment. The other two characters act autonomously, following a strategy chosen before the battle begins. These strategies can range from aggressive attacks to targeting specific foes or even staying out of combat entirely. Players can also adjust the strategy on the fly during battle. In addition, the player can give specific commands to the NPCs, such as using an item or activating a special ability.
