Summary

Rule of Rose is a survival horror game where players take control of Jennifer as she navigates through various settings, advances the story by completing objectives and watching cinematic sequences, while occasionally facing enemies and formidable bosses. Set in England during the year 1930, Rule of Rose follows Jennifer, a young girl who is guided to a deserted orphanage by a mysterious young boy.

Storyline

March, 1930. After the tragic airship accident that claimed her parents, a young girl named Jennifer is sent to the Rose Garden Orphanage, nestled in a secluded corner of the English countryside. What Jennifer finds is a crumbling building and a bizarre group of children who call themselves the "Aristocracy of the Red Crayon." The eccentric inhabitants of Rose Garden abduct Jennifer and bring her deep into the shadowy core of an enormous, impossible zeppelin, drifting toward an unknown destination. Now, with the aid of a loyal dog named Brown, Jennifer must uncover precious gifts for the Aristocracy, or face deadly consequences for her defiance.
