Storyline

Traverse barren lands steeped in sorrow; behold the fading traces of humankind and their decaying metal creations… Civilization teeters on the edge of ruin, soon to fall under the faeries' dominion. In a last-ditch effort to endure, humans have armed their witches with fae magic taken by force. Yet hope remains, for the humans have been misled — one among them hides a terrible secret. The fae have taken a human child and substituted it with an impostor… Raised by caring but unaware parents, Fern is a changeling whose true nature has awakened.
