S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat
Summary
The events of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat take place just after the conclusion of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. With word of an open route to the heart of the Zone, the government launches a major military operation called "Fairway" to regain control of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The operation's strategy begins with a military unit conducting aerial reconnaissance to chart the precise locations of anomalous zones. Using these maps, the main force is then to be deployed. However, despite careful planning, the mission goes awry. Most of the lead helicopters are lost. To uncover the cause of the operation's collapse, Ukraine's Security Service sends a lone agent deep into the Zone. From this moment on, everything is in your hands.
