Summary
VR Troopers is a 1995 fighting game inspired by the American syndicated TV series of the same name, which itself drew inspiration from various Japanese tokusatsu programs from the Metal Hero Series. The game offers three different modes: Story Game, Vs. Battle, and CPU Duel. In Story Game, players can select one of the three VR Troopers to battle against Grimlord's mutants and cyborgs, ultimately facing the villain himself. Vs. Battle is a two-player mode that lets friends compete head-to-head. CPU Duel is a one-on-one fight where the player faces an AI-controlled opponent. Players can choose their fighter and the stage for the battle. If both fighters are the same, the opponent's character is given a different color scheme.
