Summary
A handheld revival of a legendary Spectrum franchise. The game features two distinct gameplay modes: 3D exploration and 2D platforming. In the 3D exploration mode, Sabreman navigates through eight uniquely themed worlds of Sabre Wulf. Although there are no enemies in this mode, numerous characters can be spoken to, potentially offering assistance on your journey. Scattered throughout are over fifty 2D platforming levels, accessible via the tunnels inside the wulf's head.
Storyline
A shadowy figure has destroyed the legendary Sabre Wulf amulet, freeing the ferocious Sabre Wulf from his long captivity. Once more, it falls to Sabreman, the daring adventurer and master treasure seeker, to pursue and subdue his arch-rival. In your role as Sabreman, you'll step into a realm teeming with mystical creatures at your command. Harness the special abilities of each beast to overcome deadly traps, challenging obstacles, and the fearsome Sabre Wulf himself. The game blends 2D and 3D gameplay across a range of diverse levels.
