The main mode of Sega Superstars features a total of 12 complete games to play: Sonic the Hedgehog – In this stage, Sonic dashes through a circular tunnel, following the movement of the player's hand. The objective is to collect as many rings and Chaos Emeralds as possible to achieve the highest score by the end. It closely resembles the Special Stages from Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic Heroes, and particularly Sonic Rush. Samba de Amigo – After selecting a song, players must hit six targets across the screen as the "beat balls" reach them in sync with the music. Some challenges may require covering two targets at once or holding a position until a sequence of beat balls is completed. ChuChu Rocket! – Moving over a specific target raises a bridge, which the chu-chus follow to reach their destination. At times, the bridge must be lowered to stop KapuKapus from interfering with the score. Puyo Pop Fever – Colored puyos fall from the top of the screen, and the player must position their body to guide them into matching pots, allowing bombs to fall off the bottom for maximum points. Crazy Taxi – To complete each level, players must make big movements and create loud noises to bring the Crazy Taxi to a stop. Super Monkey Ball – By moving their arms into various positions, players guide the monkey ball through obstacles toward the goal, collecting as many bananas as possible along the way. NiGHTS Into Dreams – Players control NiGHTS by raising their arms in a flying motion and adjusting them to navigate through rings and collect chips. House of the Dead – Players must hit zombies appearing on screen to defeat them, while avoiding innocent civilians who occasionally show up. Virtua Striker – As footballs descend from the top, the goal is to head them into colored balloons on the opposite side of the screen to earn the highest score. Virtua Fighter – Standing to one side, players must punch and kick the correct attack prompts on screen to defeat their opponent. Blocking and countering also appear and require quick reactions. Space Channel 5 – Players must memorize and replicate dance moves demonstrated by the Morolians by pressing six different buttons in time with the music. Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg – By waving hands over two targets, players control Billy and the egg, crushing enemies and collecting fruits as they make their way to the goal.
