Serpentine

Summary

In Serpentine, you take control of a multi-segmented snake navigating a maze, with the objective of surviving and scoring as many points as you can. At the start of each level, three rival snakes join the maze. To finish the level, you must consume all of these enemy snakes. If an enemy has more segments than you, you can only eat the segments from its tail; a collision with its head will be fatal! Every time you consume a segment, the enemy snake shrinks until you can finally swallow it whole. When an enemy has fewer segments than you, you can target either its tail or even its head. Occasionally, a frog will appear in the maze; consuming it will cause your snake to grow. Both your snake and the enemy snakes occasionally drop eggs; if left alone, your eggs will hatch and give you an extra life, while enemy eggs will hatch into new snakes. You can also eat eggs to eliminate them from the maze, so it's wise to consume enemy eggs before a new snake emerges! The layout of the maze changes with each level, and the enemy snakes gradually become longer and more challenging to defeat.
