Storyline
Man, Magic, and Machine. In 2012, magic reentered our world, awakening legendary creatures long thought to be myth. Among them was the Great Dragon Feuerschwinge, who rose suddenly from the German mountains, bringing fire, death, and widespread ruin to the land. It took nearly four months for German forces to bring her down—and when they did, the event became known as the Dragonfall. It’s now 2054, 42 years later, and the world has transformed. Unrestrained technological progress has blurred the boundaries between human and machine. Elves and trolls live among us, corporations exploit the planet without mercy, and Feuerschwinge’s terror has faded into distant history. Germany is fractured—Berlin is now governed by a shifting, unstable regime known as the “Flux State.” It’s a place where power is fleeting, the rules are loose, and having the right contacts can mean the difference between wealth and ruin. For you and your team of battle-worn shadowrunners, it’s the perfect place to score a fast buck. But a new danger is on the horizon, one that could bring chaos and destruction on a massive scale. Soon, you and your team find yourselves tangled in a deadly conspiracy. The only hint: rumors of the Dragonfall. Whispers that the Great Dragon Feuerschwinge may still be alive, waiting for the perfect moment to rise again…
