Storyline

Long ago, humanity possessed extraordinary magical abilities and advanced Chromacite technology by today's standards. They inhabited a typical terrestrial world, complete with vast continents and sprawling oceans. But all of that changed with the Worldbreak. A cataclysmic event shattered the world, reshaping the landscape into what we know today. Humanity endured, but nearly all technology was lost, and the ways of the past faded into legend. Tribes emerged, scattered across the newly formed islands. Eventually, air travel was rediscovered, and a new global culture began to take shape. The Weaver Wars - A long and brutal period of conflict erupted among the various cultures aligned with the Weavers. Ultimately, the Convokers secured a decisive victory, leading to the founding of the Imperium and the dawn of the modern age. For countless generations, the Imperium has governed effectively, and humanity has thrived. Though the world has enjoyed a kind of peace—free from global-scale warfare—disputes between ideologically opposed Houses are still common. When such conflicts do escalate, they are typically contained by the Imperium's peacekeeping forces before they can spiral into world war. Then, without warning, Queen Aurelia is found dead under suspicious conditions. And Shards begin raining from the sky. This is where your story begins, Rangers.
