Storyline

The world came to an end the day the bombs struck. Everything has been the same since: sickness, starvation, suffering. The ruling Aristocrats — an anonymous elite who hoard all resources — hold unchecked power. Food, water, and medicine are always in short supply. The wealthy receive routine vaccinations in return for their unwavering loyalty to the government. The destitute live in terror, ignorance, and filth until they perish. Amy Wellard, a young woman forced to work for the government in hopes of entering the vaccine lottery, is convinced a cure exists — and she’s determined to find it. Even if it means sacrificing her own life.
