Storyline
The game follows the same structure as the original, with the addition of three brand-new and completely separate mysteries to unravel. The Two Lions On 17 August 1888, Holmes is handed an enigmatic message at his doorstep, prompting him and Watson to look into the deaths of two lions from a traveling menagerie. Meanwhile, a puzzling fatality comes to light, potentially linking the two incidents. The Pilfered Paintings Set on 22 January 1891, this case involves the theft of two artworks by the celebrated artist DeKuyper from the National Gallery, just before they were to be unveiled in a public exhibition. The peculiar way the gallery originally obtained the paintings only adds to the intrigue. The Murdered Munitions Magnate On 20 March 1888, Courtney Allen, a prosperous arms manufacturer, is found dead in an alley near his office. Scotland Yard initially suspects a robbery, as some of his valuables were taken. As Holmes and Watson dig deeper, they uncover a classified government initiative involving Allen’s company and its potential role in the murder.
