Shin Megami Tensei V, the fifth main installment in the Shin Megami Tensei series, is a role-playing video game taking place in contemporary Tokyo. It will include familiar gameplay features from earlier titles, like demon fusion, as well as introduce fresh mechanics.

Storyline

A high school student leading a normal life stumbles into a strange realm known as Da'at. There, he merges with an enigmatic figure and transforms into a Nahobino, a forbidden entity, thrust into a war between deities and demons. As the ambitions of gods and mortals collide in a world on the brink of destruction, the newly born Nahobino and his companions must determine what is worth preserving—and be ready to give up everything for it. In a world stripped of its Creator, what path will you take?
