Summary
Shining Force III is a fantasy, turn-based tactical role-playing game developed for the Sega Saturn by Camelot Software Planning. It continues the story of the Shining series and features three distinct yet interconnected storylines. In Japan, Shining Force III was released in three parts: "Scenario 1 - God Warrior of the Kingdom," "Scenario 2 - Target: Child of God," and "Scenario 3 - Bulzome Rising." Only Scenario 1 was released in America and Europe. To see the true ending of the game, players must complete all three scenarios.
Storyline
In a realm filled with fantasy and enchantment, *Shining Force III* casts you as a young general striving to protect peace in your world. The tale begins when the Emperor is captured inside the city of Saraband, forcing you to flee alongside your king, who is wrongly accused of orchestrating the kidnapping. Naturally, appearances are deceiving, and you'll be drawn into a tangled maze of lies and betrayal as you seek to clear the King's name.
