Summary
Play the World is the first official expansion for Sid Meier's Civilization III. It introduces new civilizations, units, and scenarios to the base game, along with several multiplayer options. In Turnless mode, all players take their turns at the same time, and the turn concludes when the timer expires. In Simultaneous mode, players act concurrently, and once everyone has completed their actions—or the optional turn timer runs out—their moves are resolved, and units and buildings are produced. Classic mode functions like the original Civilization III, with each player taking their turn individually.
