1943: The globe teeters on the brink of annihilation as conflict escalates to unprecedented levels. As the leader of a specialized unit, you command the troops you've handpicked on covert and highly classified missions designed to shift the balance of war in your favor—whether you fight for the Allies or the Axis.
The game's narrative is set in an alternate version of World War II. Thor's Hammer Organization (THO) is a secretive group with a vast network across Europe, driven by a desire for global control. THO understands that its ambitions can't succeed as long as opposing forces remain strong, so it uses its influence and cutting-edge technology to push both sides of the war into mutual destruction, intending to seize power once they're both weakened. The organization's name, clearly inspired by Norse mythology, is reflected in the mythological call signs used by all THO operatives. In return for the cooperation of high-ranking officials from both the Allies and the Axis, Thor's Hammer supplies them with advanced weaponry, such as the Panzerkleins. These machines are nearly impervious to small arms fire, making them extremely hard to destroy.
