
Shogi, often referred to as Japanese chess, is a two-player strategy game belonging to the same family as Western chess, chaturanga, and Chinese Xiangqi. It is the most widely played of the chess-like games originating from Japan. The word "Shogi" translates to "general's game." Simple 1500 Series vol. 002 - The Shogi is a shogi game developed under the supervision of the president of the Computer Shogi Association. It offers three difficulty settings and includes a two-player versus mode.
