A Japan-only Go title that served as the third installment in the Simple 1500 Series. Two players take turns placing black and white stones on the empty intersections of a 19×19 grid. Once placed, stones remain fixed in position. Stones that are completely encircled by the opponent's pieces are captured and taken off the board. The goal is to control more territory than the opponent. At the end of the game, controlled areas are tallied along with captured stones or your own (depending on the rules) and a fixed compensation value ("komi") to determine the winner.
