Summary

A dire situation has erupted in Klayman's homeland as Klogg, a ruthless megalomaniac, seeks to annihilate the land and impose his tyrannical rule over everything and everyone. To make his sinister ambitions a reality, he has recruited a horde of fearsome, ape-like creatures known as Skullmonkeys to help in the devastation of planet Idznak. Naturally, it falls to the player to thwart Klogg and his nefarious schemes. Similar to The Neverhood, Skullmonkeys is a 2D platformer featuring an entirely Claymation-styled cast of characters, enemies, and environments. Across seven distinct worlds and ninety challenging levels, the core mission remains the same: eliminate as many Skullmonkeys as possible. Players can accomplish this by either using projectile weapons or launching into foes with a powerful butt-bounce to their heads.
