Summary

Race through a world ravaged by Dr. Eggman and a formidable new antagonist in Sonic Forces, the latest high-speed action platformer from the creators of Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations. In Sonic Forces, you'll blur across vast, shattered environments as Modern Sonic, zip over dangerous platforms as Classic Sonic, and wield innovative new tools as your personalized Hero Character.

Storyline

Sonic the Hedgehog leads a resistance group in the game, fighting against Doctor Eggman, who has conquered the world with his robot army and a new, enigmatic antagonist named Infinite. The gameplay draws inspiration from Sonic Generations, allowing players to switch between "Classic" and "Modern" versions of Sonic. The Classic Sonic offers a 2.5D side-scrolling experience similar to the original Sonic titles on the Sega Genesis, while the Modern Sonic delivers 3D gameplay akin to Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Colors. Sonic Forces also introduces a third gameplay style featuring the "Avatar," a customizable character created by the player.
