The versions of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Sonic CD included in this collection are ports of the previously released mobile and platform remasters, enhanced with the Drop Dash ability introduced in Sonic Mania. The Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles version is exclusive to this compilation and has been remastered in the same style as the other games, also including the Drop Dash ability. This version features a revised soundtrack, replacing some tracks with those from the PC version of the Sonic & Knuckles Collection.
