Soul Hackers 2

Summary

Soul Hackers 2 is set in the 21st century and takes place amid a conflict between the Yagaratsu and the Phantom Society, rival groups of Devil Summoners. The narrative centers on two otherworldly "Aion" entities, Ringo and Figue, who travel from their origin in the information data stream to the human realm with the goal of preventing a catastrophic event that threatens to destroy mankind.

Storyline

Beneath the shimmer of neon glow, technological progress has drawn humanity into a web of commercial ease. In the darkness, a conflict between the Yatagarasu and the Phantom Society simmers, fought by Devil Summoners who wield the supernatural might of "Demons." Hidden within the vast ocean of human data, a digital hive-mind has gained awareness: Aion. Watching humanity from a distance, Aion determines that a catastrophic end is approaching and deploys two agents to stop it: Ringo and Figue. Working together, these Aion operatives must uncover and halt a chain reaction that could spell the world's destruction.
