Summary

Spider-Man: The Video Game, also referred to simply as Spider-Man, is a 1991 arcade game created by Sega featuring the Marvel Comics hero Spider-Man. Spider-Man and his companions must recover a magical relic first from Kingpin and then from Doctor Doom.

Storyline

Spider-Man is racing against time to prevent Dr. Doom from annihilating the city and its people. Dr. Doom has uncovered the Sorcerer Stone, a powerful artifact he plans to use to transform Spider-Man’s longtime foe, Venom, into a colossal threat. To stop this, Spider-Man must confront Dr. Doom and thwart his sinister scheme. However, Dr. Doom has gathered his henchmen and called upon some of Spider-Man’s most dangerous adversaries, including Dr. Octopus, Hobgoblin, and Green Goblin. Fortunately, Spider-Man isn’t alone in this battle. Three loyal allies—Hawkeye, Black Cat, and Sub-Mariner—are ready to lend their unique abilities and weapons to help stop the villains and protect the city.
