Summary
Spider-Man: Web of Shadows grants Spider-Man the abilities of both the traditional red suit and the more recent black suit. As the game progresses, players must choose which suit to depend on—the speed and agility of the red suit or the raw strength of the black suit. As Spider-Man takes down enemies, he gains new skills, web techniques, and suit enhancements, including the option to summon other Marvel characters as allies, such as Nightcrawler and Green Goblin. The game’s side-scrolling action allows players to explore the vast, symbiote-infested New York at their leisure. As new abilities are unlocked, players can venture further into the city, enabling Spider-Man to move across symbiotic sludge and blast through tunnels filled with ichor, while fending off the ever-growing threat of infected creatures.
