Summary

Step into SpongeBob's shoes in this DS-exclusive cooking game and assist him on his quest to become Bikini Bottom's top chef.

Storyline

Mr. Krabs and Plankton both want to prepare food for Jack Kahuna Laguna's beach bash, but they can't agree on who should be in charge. To settle the dispute, Jack sets up a cooking competition to determine the best chef. The winner will have the honor of serving their dishes at the event. SpongeBob is determined to see the Krusty Krab come out on top, but he's short on staff and needs assistance. Plankton’s cousins are eager to lend a hand, but since he refuses to pay them, SpongeBob offers to recruit them, promising that Mr. Krabs will reward them if they help in the competition. Over the course of the game, players will progress through 5 "Episodes," with a new judge appearing every three workdays and a fresh theme for the Krusty Krab each time. The goal is to help SpongeBob train a team of Plankton’s cousins to become the top chefs in Bikini Bottom. As the game unfolds, players assist SpongeBob and his friends in teaching the cousins to prepare a variety of dishes, including the Krabby Patty, Fried Seaweed Sandwiches, and more. Each day follows a set schedule where players must serve a number of customers before closing for the day. Every customer places specific orders that players must complete through a series of mini-games related to each dish. Dishes that score highly earn bigger tips, which can be used to purchase new recipes or improve the skills of the Plankton helpers.
