Summary

Long ago, an ancient civilization governed the Earth. They possessed highly advanced technology, but ultimately met their downfall through the reckless use of their own inventions. This lost society left behind warnings for future generations—etched onto unbreakable message plates in an ancient tongue. Various armed groups have since begun a covert hunt for these relics, seeking to harness their power for personal gain and to strike down their rivals. The ARCAM Corporation is working to prevent these factions from unleashing destruction upon themselves with these so-called "advanced" machines.
