Summary

Star Control is a science-fiction strategy game that places the military of the Alliance of Free Stars in direct conflict with the aggressive Ur-Quan Hierarchy. The game is structured to let you gradually get comfortable with the interface, settings, and control schemes. Both the Alliance and the Hierarchy field seven distinct warship classes. Each ship has its own handling, attack patterns, and a special ability that can be activated under the right conditions. Humanity is on the brink of being erased from the galaxy. A brutal coalition of alien species known as the Ur-Quan Hierarchy has emerged as the tyrannical power of the 27th century, mercilessly conquering nearby star systems. Earth is their next target. It’s up to you to stop them. Command the full might of the Alliance of Free Stars fleet and turn the tide of war.
