The Star Fox squad makes a triumphant comeback to one of their most iconic adventures with this 3D remake of Star Fox 64, complete with a total graphical overhaul. The entire Star Fox universe is now rendered in stunning 3D, stretching realistically across the Nintendo 3DS screen. The enhanced 3D visuals provide players with a sharper sense of depth and positioning, making the game more accessible and easier to navigate, so they can concentrate fully on the action.

Storyline

Corneria, the fourth planet in the Lylat system, was once a flourishing world until the evil Andross reduced it to a desolate wasteland on the brink of extinction. General Pepper of the Cornerian military managed to banish this deranged scientist to the harsh, uninhabitable world of Venom. Five years later, General Pepper observed unusual movements emanating from Venom. James McCloud, Pigma Dengar, and Peppy Hare from the Star Fox team were dispatched to look into the matter. Upon reaching Venom, Pigma turned against the team, and James and Peppy were captured by Andross. Peppy narrowly escaped the planet and returned to Corneria to inform James's son, Fox, of his father's fate. Several years later, Andross has launched another invasion of the Lylat system. General Pepper now calls upon a new Star Fox team led by Fox McCloud to defend Corneria and liberate the Lylat system once more.
