Summary
Star Wars is a Family Computer video game published by Namco in 1987. Although it is based on the first Star Wars movie, it remains the only title in the franchise that was released solely in Japan. The game is a typical side-scrolling platformer in which the player takes on the role of Luke Skywalker (depicted with black hair due to color restrictions) as he journeys to join the Rebellion in its fight against the Empire.
