Summary

Embark on a cosmic journey with Starshot, the star-tossing hero of the Space Circus. Your bravery and talent will be put to the test as you strive to defeat Wolfgang von Ravel, the sinister leader of your corrupt rival, the Virtua Circus. Only you can rescue the Space Circus from destruction! Experience complete freedom of movement in a stunning 3D universe! Starshot can walk, sprint, speak, leap, swim, and soar, all while launching and commanding stars! Encounter over 300 "cosmical" characters from countless planets!

Storyline

Starshot is a performer for the struggling Space Circus, under the leadership of Starcash. After forcing the competing Virtua Circus off a planet, the Space Circus is told by the Intergalactic Bank that they must repay their debt in ten days or face destruction. In a last-ditch effort, Starshot is dispatched to a planet hosting a weapons exhibition to secure a device capable of identifying new talents. Once he obtains the device, it leads him to four different worlds where he rescues the ghost dog Laika, the final Earthling, and a malfunctioning machine. On the fourth world, he attempts to capture a mysterious bird, but it is slain by Virtua Circus forces. The circus repays the loan to the bank representative using profits from the new acts, only to learn that the representative was actually a disguised Virtua Circus robot. Now determined to eliminate the Space Circus, Virtua Circus attacks their ship. Starshot is sent to confront the danger, facing off against the Virtua Circus leader, Wolfgang. After Starshot defeats Wolfgang, the defeated villain pleads for his life with Starcash. Starcash spares him and departs. But Starshot is soon captured by Wolfgang and is last seen imprisoned on the Virtua Circus ship as it drifts lifelessly through space.
