Summary
2nd Impact reunited all the characters from the original game and added two new fighters: Hugo and Urien. Yang, who was previously an alternate version of Yun, was reimagined as a unique character with his own special moves and super arts. Akuma made a comeback as both a hidden computer opponent and a playable character. This expanded the total number of playable fighters to 14. Alongside the standard Akuma, a non-playable AI version called "Shin Akuma" also appears in the solo campaign.
