Summary

Stronghold: Crusader Extreme is an enhanced edition of the 2001 expansion, Stronghold: Crusader, developed by Firefly Studios. The game is set in the Middle East during the Crusades. Stronghold Crusader Extreme introduces larger armies of up to 10,000 soldiers, along with new structures and missions. It also features an updated version of the original Stronghold Crusader, including all content except outposts, god powers, and the Extreme Crusader Trail. However, if the official HD patch is applied, outposts can be constructed on maps in the original Stronghold Crusader section of Stronghold Crusader Extreme.
