Summary

In *Summon Night: Swordcraft 2*, the protagonist is an orphan from the Colthearts clan, raised by a Craftknight—a warrior and smith. The character dreams of becoming a Craftknight themselves. The player takes on the role of either Edgar Colthearts or Aera Colthearts, both skilled Edge Fencers, who arrive at the location of an abandoned ruin where a fierce Summon Beast named Goura is unleashed. To safeguard their new family, Edgar or Aera forms a bond with a wild Summon Beast (a stray summon) and sets out on a quest to reseal the ruins.
