Summary
Super Bubble Bobble is a platform game that mirrors the gameplay and stages of Bubble Bobble, with each stage consisting of a single screen. Players must defeat all enemies in a level to advance to the next. One player takes control of Bub while the other controls Bob, allowing them to jump and gather items for points. Bub and Bob need to blow bubbles, which can serve as jumping platforms or tools to trap enemies. Trapped enemies can be popped by jumping into their bubbles, turning them into fruit that must be collected. Occasionally, power-ups appear inside bubbles, such as lightning that shoots horizontally at enemies, and water that pulls both players and enemies downward as it flows across platforms.
