Summary
Super Chase H.Q. is an improved follow-up to Chase H.Q. As expected, your mission is to pursue a criminal's vehicle linked to a crime, while dodging oncoming traffic to earn points. Your car is equipped with three turbo boosts, which can help if you fall far behind the target.
This time, however, cars aren't the only threat. You'll also face motorcycles that fire or hurl firebombs, and vehicles moving in the wrong direction (hitting one of these will send you airborne). Additional hazards include roadblocks and other barriers.
In addition to the criminal's damage meter, you have one for your own car. When you close in on a criminal, they may open fire if you get too close, and different criminals use different attack methods. For example, the fourth criminal fires a missile if you're too far behind. Each time you're hit by their attacks, your damage meter decreases, though this doesn't apply to damage from passing cars. If your meter is depleted or time runs out, the game ends.
After each round, a stats screen appears, giving you points based on remaining time, damage dealt, and nitro usage. One option lets you switch the speedometer between MPH and Km/h. The game also features a story that plays between rounds.
