Summary

Save the Sprixie Princess and her companions alone or team up with three friends in this upgraded edition of Super Mario 3D World, included in the Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury collection. This enhanced version of Super Mario 3D World features several new gameplay upgrades to make the experience even more exciting. Every character has been given a speed boost, and they can climb even higher after grabbing a Super Bell, making the platforming feel sharper and more dynamic. Gyro controls are now available for specific parts of the game that used to rely on touch controls. In addition to local and same-system co-op for up to four players, you can now enjoy online multiplayer in Super Mario 3D World for the first time ever! Pick your favorite character before each level and use the unique skills of all four playable heroes to explore every corner of the Sprixie Kingdom.

Storyline

While strolling through the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario, Toad, Peach, and Luigi come across one of the many green pipes—only this one is different. A fairy, later revealed to be Princess Sprixie, emerges from it. But Bowser is in hot pursuit, capturing her and fleeing through the pipe. Without hesitation, Mario and his friends leap after him, landing in the Sprixie Kingdom, where they must now set out to rescue the captured princess.
