Summary
Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll, much like its predecessor Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, features an enjoyable ball-rolling gameplay style, a solid collection of challenges, and a mixed bag of mini-games. Some standout features include the co-op mode that feels reminiscent of Super Mario Galaxy, allowing players to blast obstacles for one another. While the inclusion of balance board support looked promising on paper, in reality it didn’t do much for me—it felt more like a source of frustration than fun. If you ignore the balance board and stick to the core gameplay, you're in for a solid experience.
