Summary
Super Street Fighter IV is a 2010 combat game developed by Capcom. It serves as an enhanced edition of Street Fighter IV and is considered the final chapter in the Street Fighter IV series. Due to the extensive changes and additions, it was too substantial to be released as downloadable content, so it was instead launched as a separate title with a price point lower than that of a standard retail release.
Storyline
Super Street Fighter IV occurs concurrently with SF4, taking place several months after the events of Street Fighter II, making it chronologically positioned between Street Fighter II and III. Following M. Bison’s survival from his clash with Akuma, the S.I.N. corporation launched a new fighting tournament to attract the world’s most formidable warriors for the BLECE project. Each fighter enters the competition for their own reasons, but S.I.N.’s true objective is to entice Ryu into their grasp in order to study the Satsui no Hadō, which they believe is the final key to completing BLECE.
